LGB RhB Heidi G 3/4 Steam
Loco, 11, Sound 20272 RhB Steam loco G3/4 "Heidi", Sound The Rhätische Bahn's
G 3/4 11 was placed in service in 1903, and it remained in service until
the 1970s. However, in 1952, the first movie based on the famous Heidi
novel was filmed, and the RhB provided a train for the production. That
train was pulled by the G 3/4 11, and since then, the loco has been nicknamed
Heidi. Currently, the G 3/4 11 is being refurbished, and in
a few years, this historic loco will be used for special RhB trains. The
basic technical features of this LGB model are the same as the LGB 20271.
However, this model is also equipped with digital reproductions of the
prototype Heidi, including steam chuffs, coal shoveling, bell,
whistle and other sound features. Additional sounds can be triggered using
the LGB Multi-Train System. |

20271 RhB Steam Loco G
3/4 Heidi For many years, the Rhätische Bahn employed G 3/4 series steam locomotives for road and switching duties. This beautiful LGB model, the first LGB model of an RhB steam loco, brings a new era to LGB RhB fans. The model is a detailed replica of the original RhB G 3/4 11 including opening cab doors and detailed boiler backhead. Technical features include automatic directional lighting and a working smoke generator. Plus, it is equipped with an onboard LGB Multi-Train System decoder for fuss-free operation on both analog and MTS layouts. With this beautiful reproduction, you can have a Swiss railroading legend on your own layout! |

LGB SBB Steam Loco, NGe
3/3 21470 Between 1910 and 1926,
the Swiss Locomotive & Machine Works (SLM) built 17 gear-driven rack steam
locomotives for the Brünigbahn. Loco Number 1068 was one of these and
operated for many years on the famous Interlaken-Luzern line. Together
with the matching LGB wagons (31330 and 41330), you can now model a complete
SBB narrow-gauge passenger train on your LGB layout. This LGB model has
a fully functional gear drive mechanism, but it can also be used on conventional
track sections. It also features automatic directional lighting, a smoke
generator and DCC decoder interface. |

LGB SBB Steam Loco, NGe

to the symphony of the pistons, the bell, the whistle, the brakes and
more. (And you can conduct this orchestra by remote control with the LGB

Deutsche Reichsbahn livery. Two Bühler motors, one in each drive mechanism,
offer tremendous pulling power through tight curves and up steep grades.

22150 DR Tender Steam Loco, 99 2815 Many European narrow-gauge lines coupled tenders, carrying extra water and coal, to their small locos to extend their range. Such machines were still in use in the 1960s on the DR lines in Mecklenburg and Vorpommern. The 99 2815 captures that style and includes a Bühler motor and traction tire for strong pulling power. And with its very attractive price, its a great way to add a beautiful model to your LGB roster. Estimated delivery date: Nov. 2006

22184 Disney Mogul Steam,
Sound To make sure that his
Disneyland Railroad was ready to operate for the inauguration of Disneyland
on July 17, 1955, Walt Disney had his first two locomotives built in his
studio workshops, based on original drawings. The wonderful “C. K. Holliday”
was named after the founder of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway,
which was the sponsor of the Disneyland Railroad during its early years.
An almost identical copy of the “C.K. Holliday” was built in 1992 by H.P.
Phillips in Wales. Since April 1992, it has operated in Disneyland Paris.
This makes the “C.K. Holliday” the only locomotive that exists twice on
the roster of the Disneyland Railroad. This LGB model shows the loco in
its current livery and is equipped with digital sound. This reproduces
not only the sounds of a working steam locomotive, but also original station
announcements from Disneyland. But this loco model offers even more. Standard
features include an onboard MTS decoder and a smoke generator. Together
with the new ©Disney “Lilly Belle” and “Long Island” passenger cars, you
can assemble a prototypical consist. |

LGB ©Disney Mogul
Steam Loco 22185 From his childhood, Walt Disney was a railfan. So it's not a surprise that all his theme parks feature trains. Of course, each Disney park needs locomotives and cars, and this new LGB model is another reproduction of a Disneyland steam locomotive. In addition to the authentic livery, the model, like the original, features a big rack of antlers on top of the headlight. The ©Disney Mogul is ready for operation on analog layouts. It is also equipped with a DCC interface for easy retrofitting of an LGB 55027 MTS Loco Decoder III or other standard large-scale DCC decoder. |

LGB SP Mogul Steam Loco,
Vanderbilt Tender, Sound 22194 From the late 19th century into the early 20th century, more than 10,000 versatile Mogul locomotives were built for countless railroads. This LGB model is painted in the colors of the Southern Pacific and equipped with a Vanderbilt oil tender. A detailed cab, directional lighting and a smoke generator offer visual appeal, while a rugged Bühler motor provides pulling power for both passenger and freight trains. |

LGB of America announced that it will proceed with plans to produce its own G-scale trains and accessories. LGBoA also announced that its existing inventories of LGB products are generally very good and that it is working with many long-time LGB suppliers on its production efforts.
Our constant goal is to provide consumers with the quality LGB products they want, said Tony Castellano, President of LGB of America. We purchased a tremendous amount of LGB before production ended at Lehmann. We have already announced our new USRA 0-6-0 loco, and we plan to have fresh inventory before the start of the holiday selling season.
