CSX SD-40-2 Husky Stack® Set
Long lines of intermodal well
cars, double-stacked with an assortment of distinctive containers, are a
common and striking sight on the modern rail lines. With over 22,000 miles
of track connecting 23 states and two Canadian provinces, CSX operates one
of the largest intermodal networks in the United States. Lionel embraces
the intermodal age of railroad transportation with a consist of four All-Purpose
Husky Stack cars pulled by a powerful CSX SD-40-2 diesel locomotive. This
locomotive comes equipped with the Lionel LEGACY Control System. Each scale-sized,
highly-detailed Husky Stack car carries a load of two realistic intermodal
containers.
