I got this kit and used it with groups of 1st-6th graders at the summer camp where I worked. They were totally engaged, very excited to do all the experiments, and it led to very good discussions in which the kids came up with some thoughtful hypotheses and conclusions. They especially loved the "bouncing light" experiment and the rainbow glasses! The guide that comes along with the kit gives kid-friendly explanations for everything they will see during the experiments. The kit is easily adaptable to different age groups as well. Overall, this was a great find and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some effective, but easy-to-put-together science lessons! (Posted on 7/29/2014)
