Included in the book is a general black-and-white photo album of the train during its life over the entire N&W system. Text gives a detailed history of the train from concept to it's retirement in 1969, schedules, connections, and changes. One of America's most famous trains.

First Edition printing, hard to find book.
Book itself is in Like-New condition. No inscription, folds, creases, tears, or other damage.
Binding is tight, pages are very clean.
The only cosmetic issue is a slight overall bend, most likely from the way it was placed on a shelf.
Comes from a smoke-free collector's home, very well taken care of.
