K&R Custom Models 8012 Dwarf signals for DZ-2500
Dwarf Signals (8005 and 8006) tell it all...individually placed, you can be sure that the switch was thrown as seen clear across your whole layout. Or, you are an Engineer and you want the status of a clear switch or not switched track, no matter what track or direction you are running. You would want the 8012 set of 3 Dwarfs, 2-8005s and 1-8006 for the side track.
See image, the LEFT Switch application example using the DZ-2500 Switch and DZ-2502 push button control switch. State 1 shows the switch running on a main line (example only). The curved siding is Red (8006) and the straight main line with 2-8005s showing Green. Then, you switch toward a siding artery and all 3 Dwarfs change state Red to Green (8006) and Green to Red (8005s).
