The 0319-41 winding spool serves two functions. First, it enables you to wind or load the power spring for launch; Second, the top portion of the spool has teeth that engage the clutch teeth at the shaft underneath the helicopter. The winding spool is used on both the 0319 Helicopter Car as well as the 3619 Helicopter Reconnaissance Car.
