Still the best selling passenger diesel of all time, EMD's E7 picked up where the E6 had left off before WWII, but with its already proven power wrapped in a new look. Gone were the sleek slanted noses of the earlier E units, replaced with the _Bulldog_ nose introduced on the immensely popular FT. Orders for the new locomotives came pouring in from railroads eager to dieselize their passenger service in the booming postwar economy. This new run of E7's from Lionel captures some of the greatest paint schemes ever worn by these locomotives, including some very early variations. All of the AA / AB sets feature two powered locomotives, both with LEGACY and Bluetooth control, fan-driven smoke, lighting and Electrocouplers on the ends. The lead unit includes sounds, track IR and crew figures. To boost your consist, SuperBass B units are also available for each road. These nonpowered models feature lights, smoke and a sound system that will take your experience to the next level!
