Used Lionel 6-38076 Chesapeake & Ohio TMCC 2-8-4 Berkshire #2699 w/Box

This O scale steam locomotive is in Excellent Condition from a smoke-free home/collection. There are no missing parts. There are minimal minute marks on the shells of the engine and tender. This set is tested. The heater element in the smoke-unit burns, but the fan motor needs to be replaced. The locomotive runs well in both directions with working lights, sounds, and operating coupler. Basic servicing is recommended. The locomotive's ID is reset to 01. This item is stored in its original packaging with spare traction tires included.

Original Description:

Scale-sized Lionel Berkshires pay tribute to one of the last great steam locomotive designs, including details unique to each road name. There is no trust plate on the Lionel model of #2699 (ex-PM Berkshire #1215) since the merger agreement between Pere Marquette and C&O dictated that only "paid off" locomotives could be re-lettered Chesapeake & Ohio. Purchased in 1946, Berkshires were among the last steamers to run on the Virginian Railway. Both Berkshires include all-new enhancements such as separate coal, individually opening water hatches, and more separately-applied handrails.
