G Scale Trains LGB Trains-Piko

The largest electrically powered models:
Starter sets set up in small areas.  Some brands can be used outdoors.  Large size allows for rugged handling by younger children.  Many models have working parts that enhance play value.

LGB trains are responsible for introducing G Scale to Model Railroading, sometimes called "Large Scale Trains".  They can be used outdoors although we recommend housing the engine in a train shed. The scale for LGB is 1:22.5 but some other manufactures will make the scale from 1:20 - 1:32.  They will all run on the same track which is 45mm gauge.
