Woodland Scenics, Lionel, MTH, Atlas & Department 56 are the most popular buildings scaled in O Scale or O Gauge.

• Woodland Scenics buildings are the most detailed plastic buidings.
•  Department 56 Buildings are made of Resin, Polyresin or ceramic. There are quite a few "villages" in the Department 56 line from whimsical elfs  to modern Christmas in the City. Even Harry Potter buildings and Halloween buidings make the Dpartment 56 line up.  Department 56 villages
• Atlas makes some kits that are available- They are plastic and will require assembly
• Lionel has as few kits and produce pre-assembled railroad structures and buildings.
