Used Vintage Lionel 3359 Operating Twin Dump Coal Car, No Box
Very nice Lionel #3359 Operating coal car in O gauge!
This is a vintage car from the postwar era, made in the mid to late 1950s.
Requires 2 Lionel OTC lockons and a button controller to activate.
When sitting between the 2 OTC lockons, use the button to slowly raise and then dump the coal load to the side.
Each button press raises the container one click until it gets to the top and empties.
Includes original Lionel #160 coal bin for dumping.
This car includes a on/off switch to allow for use with an uncoupling track without emptying the load.
Also includes original instruction sheet.
Does not include the OTC lockons.
Tested and working, although a bit slowly.
Comes from a smoke-free collector's home, well taken care of.
The car does have a bit of discoloration on the light grey top from age, but finish is in good condition overall.
Heat stamped lettering is in great shape, all lettering is colored black and entirely readable.
Features die-cast operating couplers and trucks with die-cast metal wheels.
Overall, a very nice vintage operating car!
