Lionel 6-8-6 Postwar S-2 Steam Turbine #671 Variation 'A' Tested and WORKING no Box
A vintage Postwar-era Lionel 6-8-6 S-2 steam turbine, Lionel Lines #671. Variation 'A', with jacks to connect the direction unit and whistle in the tender to the locomotive's "ATOMIC MOTOR". No tender, but still runs forward-neutral-reverse normally. Features red keystone on front of boiler with gold lettering (partially scraped off). Unit is clean, with minor paint scraping from age, and no rusting. Contact rollers are in good shape, with just minor grooving. Drive wheels and gears are clean with no rust, damage, or gunk. Features working headlight. Older smoke unit that uses older No. 196 smoke pellets (untested). Overall, locomotive is in great shape and just needs to be paired with a tender to run on your layout!
