Great condition Lionel postwar transformer!
Made for O scale use.
These were never sold on their own, only together with sets that did not have a whistle or horn from 1948-1954.
This is a variation A transformer, with the blue UL logo and blue type on the label.
Type 1034 transformer, 75 watts of power, 115-125 volts with 50-60 cycles.
This unit is in great condition, especially for its age.
It has been tested and all connections are putting out power. Working well.
Comes from a smoke-free collector's home, well taken care of.
Original owner did not supply us the original box so it is not included.
There are a few marks in the finish, but nothing major.
The label on the top has some marks on it from age, but everything is still legible.
The power cord was replaced at some point in it's history, most likely due to dry rot (a common ailment) on the original cord.
Please be aware, this transformer does NOT have a whistle/horn option, simply speed and directional control.
Overall, a very nice vintage transformer perfect for someone looking to power their conventional train set up!
